At Montrose Auto Body, we know that having a damaged car cause a lot of stress with choosing where to take your car for auto body repairs and figuring out who will accept your insurance. We know that you need to have certain questions answered so we have addressed all the commonly asked questions here for your convenience.

Q: Do you guarantee your auto body repair and collision work?

A: Yes, we guarantee the repairs that we do for as long as you own your car.

Q: Do you know how long the repairs on my car will take?

A: Each repair time will vary in length depending on the damage to your car. We pride ourselves on keeping our customers up-to-date on the repair process for their vehicle.

Q: When did you start your business?

A: We started Montrose Auto Body in 1999 and have been open for business since then.

Q: Do you work with all insurance companies or only a few?

A: We work with all insurance companies.

Q: If you find additional damage to my car after you’ve started the repairs, what will happen?

A: If we do find more damage, we will keep you posted on that, and we will inform your insurance company of the additional damage. Once we receive authorization from your insurance company, we will continue the repairs on your car.

Q: How long do I have to wait to wash my car after it is painted?

A: You are free to wash your car by hand once the repairs are finished. We don’t recommend using an automated car wash facility for at least 30 days.

Q: Do you have a rental car available if I’m in need of one?

A: We refer all of our customers who are in need of a rental car to Enterprise Rent A Car. They have pre-negotiated rates for our Montrose Auto Body customers. However, we do provide a pickup and drop off service to the airport or to town or any location within 20 miles of the body shop.

Q: Do you have a towing service in case I cannot drive my car?

A: We don’t have a towing service on the premises, but we will happily set one up for you with one of the towing companies we partner with on a regular basis.

Q: Can I expect my car to be clean when I pick it up?

A: All cars are hand washed and vacuumed. We also clean the windows before you pick up your vehicle.

Q: Do you repair different types of cars?

A: We work on and repair all types of vehicles including both foreign and domestic.

Q: Will my car be salvageable if the frame is ruined?

A: Yes, we will be able to fix it even if the frame is destroyed. The only time a car is considered a total loss is when the price of the auto body repairs exceeds the insurance company’s determined value of your vehicle. Our highly trained and skilled technicians can restore your vehicle to its original factory condition and specifications.

Q: Can you match the exact paint color of my car?

A: Montrose Auto Body Shop has made a large investment in having the finest paint system available, and we are constantly upgrading its technology and equipment to ensure that the paint matches your vehicle exactly. We take great pride in our ability to match the factory paint finish as the final step in our repair process.

Q: Can I request to have other repairs done on my vehicle while it is in the body shop?

A: Yes, please make your estimator aware of the other work you want done on your vehicle, and they can make the arrangements for that.

Q: How will I know when you are finished working on my car?

A: We will contact you to make arrangements for pickup when we have gone through all the appropriate quality control checks for your vehicle.

Q: Would anyone be able to give me a ride?

A: Yes, we can pick you up or drop you off within a 20 mile radius of Montrose Auto Body. We also offer pick up and drop off service to and from Montrose Regional Airport.
